Administratively Determined Incentive Program (ADI)
Welcome to the Administratively Determined Incentive Program (ADI). All ADI Registrations are required to be submitted through this ADI registration portal. This portal will allow you to enter a registration, save and update registration information, upload the required ADI Registration documents, and check the status of your ADI registration(s) at any time.
When entering your first registration, you will be prompted to set up a secured log-in and profile. The log-in will be required to submit additional registrations or to view the status of a registration. ALL correspondence will be sent via email to the designated parties listed under the Premise, Primary and Solar Contractor section of the online portal. Hard copy letters will not be issued.
If you currently have a log in that was used in the previous SREC Registration Program (SRP), or Transitive Incentive Program (TI) you can use the same log in for the ADI Registration online portal.
Administratively Determined Incentive (ADI) Program provides administratively set incentive values for net metered residential projects, net metered non-residential projects of 5MW or less, all community solar projects, and, for an interim period, projects previously eligible to seek conditional certification form the Board under Subsection (t). Net Metered Non-Residential Solar facilities that participate in the ADI Program cannot exceed 5MW dc (5,000 kW) in size.
Community Solar registrations are not being accepted under the ADI Program portal. Community Solar registrations must be submitted in the Community Solar Energy Program (CSEP) Online portal which can be found at https://njcsep.customerapplication.com/
Per Board Order dated April 6, 2022, the Board waived the prohibition against commencing construction prior to receipt of the ADI Program notice of conditional registration enumerated in N.J.A.C. 14:8-11.4(b). The Board has determined that the closure of Energy Year 2022 on May 31, 2022, marks an appropriate time to end the waiver of the rule and therefore waives this prohibition for projects that begin construction on or before May 31, 2022.
Projects that have previously been issued a PTO prior to the opening of the ADI Program; August 28,2021 are required to petition the NJBPU for eligibility to participate in the ADI Program.
ADI Capacity Blocks by Market Segment
The ADI Program will accept new registrations on a first come, first serve basis unti lthe megawatt block for that market segment is fully subscribed or until June 1, 2024, whichever comes first. When the megawatt block has been fully subscribed, the ADI Program Manager will close the registration portal to new registrations for that market segment and any new registration will no longer be accepted under that market segment. There will not be a waiting list for projects seeking to enter a capacity block for a particular market segment that is already fully subscribed.
The table will be updated on a regular basis to track available capacity for each market segment.
